MICROBE-LIFT Nitrifying Bacteria is a highly-specialized microbial consortium of nitrifying cultures that are specially formulated to eliminate ammonia via a natural biological process termed nitrification. The cultures contained in Microbe Lift Nitrifying Bacteria will establish, promote or stabilize and maintain nitrification in your aquaponics system, eliminating the toxic effect of ammonia. MICROBE-LIFT Nitrifying Bacteria contains select strains of Nitroso Mona, Nitrospira and Nitrobacteria. Nitroso Mona convert ammonia to nitrite and Nitrobacteria and Nitrospira convert nitrite to nitrate.
